Weingarten Rights-REMINDER10/10/2013
1975 Supreme Court upheld an National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) decision that employees have a right to union representation at investigatory interviews. These are known as the as the Weingarten Rights. IAM LL725 contract,pg. 166, Weingarten Rights; 1975 United States Supreme Court ruling "If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, or affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my union representative, officer, or steward be present at this meeting. Until my representative arrives, I choose not to participate in this discussion.
